Christmas - Yule presents list

On the morning of December 25th, in front of the wanderers bedroom's door and inside the god's temples there are presents to be found. They come with a small card that only says 'Happy Holidays!' and is signed as Star-Lord.

If the chars stayed the night at Peter's ship, the Benatar, they will find the presents in the main living room with only a card with their name on it, no mention of who left the presents there.

The presents are as follow:

Alice: A plush bunny, notebooks and watercolor coloring supplies, and a new dress.

Ariadne: A new dress and a pair of earrings.

Asterios: A big, dark lined cape with a hood to keep him warm because it's freezing out there. The hood has 2 holes in it for his horns, so those don't get in the way. And the cape can fit so many cute cats in it. SO MANY. It's dark navy blue on the outside with golden embroidery and with dark gold on the inside.

Chizuru: A cherry blossom hair pin.

Daenerys: Peter know she always wear pretty elegant clothes but...Daenerys needs to discover the wonders of big fluffy sweaters and jeans.

Felicity 'Lissie' Merriman: A messenger bag and a triceratops plushie.

Finn: A giant dog bed for his pets, and some new clothes for him.

Five: Peter still thinks he's a 13 years old kid, so he's getting him a pair of skates.

Gaige: A red hooded leather jacket, that sorta matches the one for Ivar....Except that the front lapels are bedazzled with red and gold stones.

Gamora: Peter is going to spoiler her rotten because he can. So she gets: a pair of casual boots, a pretty dress, new pair of leather pants, and a embroiled space themed pendant that Peter embroiled himself so it looks a bit so so...it has the date they met in the back, which is when Gamora tried to kill him and then they all ended in prison.

Hector and Jim Kirk: Both get a hand-made book of space cartography, filled with colored maps of Peter's universe Galaxy, with handwritten bits of information on each page and photos from his ship data, that he managed to extract and print after finally using the wind turbine to power one of his datapads. The book explains the different planets (like Xandar), mining stations (like Knowhere), moons, nebulas...It might not be Jim's own universe but it makes for an interesting read.

For Jim, the book is in a box next to a present that Peter couldn't get wrapped because it's a cage with an adorable little resident inside it to keep Jim company.

Ivar: A red hooded leather jacket with his symbol embroidered in the back.

Klaus: A fluffy jacket to keep him warm and a fine bottle of wine.

Loki: A beautiful shawl with a matching plush collar cape.  (Also a room for himself in the Benatar, even if he insist on living inside cupboards jfc, Loki)

Mary: A fancy new jacket, with matching shoes and a bag.

Naminé: The present is a collar that symbolizes the moon's phases and a dress.

Nero: The present is a giant plushie for all his meme lord needs.

Richie: He barely knows the kid but...kids need presents for Christmas. So he gets a bike.

Rhys: A new suit - jacket, because man, what is your fashion sense.

Sora: A skateboard and a comfy hoodie.

Terezi: Two dragon plushies and some teal nail polish with glitter.

Turgon
: A scratching post - bed bed for his cat, so it stops clawing at him, and a bottle of wine.

Wei Wuxian: Homemade cookies in the shape of a musical note and a silver hair ornament in the shape of a half moon

Ye Zun
:  A cozy blanket to keep him warm and a tea set.

GODS

Honir: Like Jim, Honir's present is a hand-made book of space cartography, with extra notes focusing on the planets' species of animals, like the Vyloos, the abilisk, flerkens...also home made cookies in the shape of spaceships and aliens.

Odin
: Valknut shaped cookies, a pair of really cool shades. And a card with a riddle:

What do you call two crows on a branch?

(the answer is ɹǝpɹnɯ pǝʇdɯǝʇʇɐ uɐ).

Sigyn: A pair of Tiger Lily flower earrings and a fat unicorn plushie. Because why not.

Skadi: Some decorations for her temple and a pair of beetle earrings.

Asgard Genesis | The Benatar player plot

Plot During the June 'item drop' event, the Guardian's ship The Benatar crashed into the city in the Vænnstaðr park of Skadi District. It's an M-Class ship they use as means to fly around the Galaxy and also their home.

It's not operational after the crash but Peter is trying to fix it to use it as house of sorts and maybe see if he can get it to fly in the long run. Getting the ship to fly will be an unlikely outcome, there's not a regular source of energy to power a ship of this size and one of the wings got broken during the landing. The idea is that Peter will ask for help to the other newcomers and see if that way it can be operational sooner. The more people involved the more fun it could get, and it's a way to build up CR.
Ship visuals
It's really a big ship (front and back) with an escape pod attached that's big enough to fit people comfortably. Most of the ship doesn't have doors, just a series of arches and ladders, except: the bathroom, individual bedrooms and the cargo bay.

The doors, the pod, the air conditioning, music system and different utensils need to be operated with electricity. Since that will be an option no more, he will have to work on getting those to open/work manually and use oil lamps/candles to light up the ship.

Time-line & tasks The list of tasks and time-frame after clearing things with the Asgard mods are the following:

1 - The ship's arrival in Asgard

The ship crash-lands into the Vænnstaðr park, and it's left there to avoid further damage to the structure. Peter needs to contact Skadi Goddess when available to ask for actual permission/thank her. Skadi granted Peter permission to leave the ship in her park, albeit under some conditions.

2 -Getting inside the ship

With the help of other volunteers (Melisandre, Loki, Thrawn), Peter broke open the cargo bay door. There's more damage made to the ship's door, as it was easier to break them down to get inside the different rooms than to wait until a source of energy could make them operative.

3 -Making the ship livable

In order for Peter or anyone else to be able to live in this space, they really only have to find a way into the ship. There would be no lights or electricity until the previous requirement is met, but if they're fine with stumbling around the open spaces of the ship in the dark, it's doable. Access to the bathrooms/bedrooms/cargo bay are dependent on an electricity source, as you stated, and can be accomplished within the same 3-4 month timeframe we gave you for being able to power the lights in the ship. This is like, bare minimum power, enough to see by and get doors to open/close but not much else.

⬜ Work in progress: The doors of the ship have been broken down, and oil lamps as well as candles are being used to light up the rooms at night. During the day, the different windows of the ship give the rooms enough light.

4 -Making the ship comfortable

Powering the air conditioning, music system, and anything else that requires a constant source of electricity will take much longer to accomplish because it'll need a much larger generator. The ship is huge, and electricity is being invented as a brand new concept, so the Benatar would need its own massive generator to get enough power to actually get things running properly. This would take 5-6 months of trial and error in figuring out what this big ol' ship needs to stay powered. In that timeframe, you could take some liberties with saying maybe it works decently enough for a few hours during the day, or he could get it to last the whole night if he stores up all the power from a day or two of sunlight. Things like this are okay! But it wouldn't get to a point of staying on consistently until that large-scale power source is finalized.

⬜ Work in progress - Info TBA

5 -Getting the ship to fly

Since part of the damage I described in the Deluge-ion log was that one of the Benatar's wings broke, that pretty much meant the ship would be grounded indefinitely. That kind of damage needs to be welded to get it fixed and it's not exactly possible in Asgard for now...Peter is just in denial about it.

6-Weapons and such

The weapons and bombs shown in the movies work with power cells, anulax batteries and electricity...which means they're all useless in Asgard.

Alignment: TYR | Conjuration magic

❧ the god of courage and diplomacy.

In a world built upon the premise of boundless possibility, Tyr finds it foolish to be anything less than daring in life. What a great privilege it is to be alive in the Mother's embrace, where She has given Her children the freedom to be anything they want to be. It seems like a waste of potential to be anything but bold and welcoming to that vast expanse of creation in its entirety.

Tyr sees no purpose to drawing lines in the sand or seeking to divide one from another. This world of theirs was given to them to share, to grow and thrive together. Bringing people together to enjoy this life they've been given is Tyr's focus, and he relies on charm and wit to draw them there. With a devilish smile and wide open arms, Tyr greets the world with the fondest of embraces.

→ Power Set: Find Familiar

You gain the service of a familiar, a spirit that takes an animal form of your choice but no larger than a medium-sized dog. Your familiar acts independently of you, but it always obeys your commands. It appears instantaneously when you summon it and remains for up to 10 minutes. If the familiar is attacked and dies, it will disappear and leave no physical form; simply recast the spell to bring it back. You may only have one familiar at a time; trying to summon two (ex: a cat when you already have a dog) will result in the first familiar changing shape into whatever new animal you're trying to summon. See the spell page for further details, but ignore the first and last paragraphs.

Usual familiar's forms: Corgi (1, 2), bat (1, 2), cat (a bengal), hawk (Savanna hawk), lizard, owl (a stripped owl), poisonous snake (Atheris hispida), fish (quipper), rat, raven, spider (A peacock spider), weasel (Japanese weasel), or a Hoatzin (1, 2, 3).

Upon reaching Level 2 -Your god power has changed in the following ways: Find Familiar increases from 10 minutes to 1 hour per casting. You are capable of using this god power roughly seven times a day.

→ Power Set: Conjure Elemental

The ability to summon an elemental servant. Choose an area of air, earth, fire, or water within 90 feet of you; an elemental of the same type rises from that area. The elemental is friendly to you and your companions for up to 1 hour. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue to it, but will only stand and defend itself if you have not given it a command to follow. You cannot end the spell early, and if you take damage, you lose control of the elemental. It becomes hostile towards you and your allies, and attacks you for the remainder of the spell. Peter is capable of using this god power roughly three times a day.

Since Peter did a similar thing in canon when he had his celestial powers, the elemental's shape might be a bit influenced by his pop culture knowledge. Which is to say, he might summon an earth elemental shaped like Pacman or a Fire elemental shaped like the eye of Sauron.

→ Power Set: Conjure Celestial

You summon forth a spirit to act as a loyal guardian. When you cast this spell, you decide what form the spirit takes. The celestial is friendly to you and your companions for up to 1 hour. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue to it to the best of its ability. If you don't issue any commands to the celestial, it defends itself from hostile creatures but otherwise takes no actions. The spell ends early if the celestial takes enough damage to kill it.

Peter's Celestial takes the form of a Battleforce Angel...who might or might not have green skin and black/dark magenta hair.

Asgard Genesis APP

IC INFO;

Character Name: Peter Jason Quill - Star Lord
Canon: MCU / Guardians of the Galaxy
Canon Information: MCU - wiki
Canon Point
: End of Avengers: Endgame
Age: 38 years old
God Houses:

Note: Due to what Ego did to him and the mistrust it created against God-like entities, plus the guilt he feels about the battle of Titan, Peter will refuse to choose a God ic-ly even after knowing that it could kill him (again). Because he's an idiot.

Tyr: Peter started as a selfish thief who only looked after himself but his compassionate and empathetic nature made itself more obvious as the guardians encountered more and more hardships. He saved Gamora in Jail, was willing to bring the Power stone to the Nova Corps, gave up his celestial powers in order to stop his megalomaniac father... If he can solve a conflict talking rather than fighting, he's all for it, but if that's not an option he's the first person ready to take risks.

Odin: Because Peter was kidnapped from Earth at the age of 8, he had no chance to finish school, learn proper History or a lot of important basic information such as certain vocabulary or geography. He's not the brightest but that lack of knowledge is what makes him more aware of how words can win over and manipulate people, so he uses his emotional intelligence. He has street-smarts and he's quick-witted, he thinks so outside the box they're not even in the same room and it's exactly that what makes it easy for him to come up with crazy impossible plans on the fly and somehow making them work.

Honir: If there's something Peter loves that's exploring the galaxy and trying new things. The stars are his home. He thrives on adventures and being on the move, full of wanderlust, making himself useful and meeting all sorts of interesting people...who might or might not always end adopted into the Guardians' dysfunctional family.

Personality
:

Peter started, by his own admission, as a dick. Mostly justified by his formative years spent with a group of intergalactic outlaws, he was a con artist and a petty criminal. He looked after himself and cared little about his actions affected others, even to the point of forgetting that his latest fling was still in his ship when he left to steal a mysterious artifact.

Regardless of that, he was never needlessly cruel or destructive unless there was no other way to save himself, preferring to stun and knock out his enemies rather than outright kill them. When he learned that the fate of the Galaxy was at a stake due to the Power Stone, Peter was willing to give it back to the Nova Corps even if that meant being arrested. When push came to shove, he chose to do the right thing, team up with a very particular group of individuals that became his newfound family, and to better himself.

The Guardians aren't the most conventional heroes nor is Peter always the ideal personification of a team leader. He has charisma and he managed to convince a group of outlaws to join him in defending Xandar against Ronan's forces but he also gets into petty arguments, can be extremely emotional, egoistical, sarcastic and very immature. At the same time, some of his best qualities are Peter's compassion and empathy. He has a good sense of humor, he's an incurable flirt, and he will defuse a situation with words rather than violence if that's an option--as shown when he convinced Drax not to kill Gamora in prison shortly after they all met and didn't even like each other.

When he was little, because he never got to meet his birth father, Peter made up stories about him and what the man was doing. All he wanted was a proper family and didn't realize back then he already had one due to Yondu Udonta being an emotionally constipated violent criminal with an odd way of showing that he cared. Peter thought that the Ravagers seriously considered eating him and it wasn't until Yondu sacrificed his life to save him that Peter realized he already had a father figure in his life.

In spite of all that, he's a laid-back guy who can make jokes about everything, admires pop culture from the 70-80s and loves to dance. His passion for music is an extension of Peter's deep love for his deceased mother. She was the one who introduced him to it and he cherishes the tapes she left her to the point of not leaving the Klyn prison without his Walkman.

He likes fun, and he likes pushing life's limits as well as his own, wander the galaxy and meet new people. Sometimes he plays dumb to deceive people, has his own particular moral code, and is far more skilled one would realize at first sight. He's learned from criminals to use any means at his advantage in a fight, aware that he's not that well suited for melee combat, thinking outside the box and turning into a pragmatic combatant. He takes pride in his piloting abilities, arguing with Rocket about who's the best at it even as they're being chased by a small army.

When his emotions don't get the best of him, Peter can be a great team player. He can defend himself in a fight but more often than not, his role it's to hold off the enemy by being a distraction. He confused Ronan with a ridiculous dance-off until Rocket repaired the Hadron Enforcer to fire it at him, he held off Ego long enough for the bomb to be put in the Celestial's brain, and he worked with Stephen Strange and Tony Stark to trap Thanos and separate him from the Gauntlet in the battle of Titan.

Peter is very protective about his friends and loved ones, resulting in outburst of rage and foolish reactions when somebody hurts them. He tried to keep his feelings in check and was really embarrassed when Mantis brought it up but he developed romantic affections for Gamora and he would go to great lengths to honor those feelings. That includes promising to kill (and later trying to) the woman he loves before Thanos can use her to find the Soul Stone.

A lot of heroes might be motivated by the wish to do what's right (like Captain America), fear (Ironman) or their responsibilities (Thor). Peter Quill is motivated by love. The set of principles that usually guide his actions, both heroic and foolish, are caused by his love for those around him, his need to open up to others and protect them. Is that love what motivated him to save the universe, helped Peter tap into his celestial powers, and it's the reason why he didn't care about giving those up and being like everyone else.

His skills are that of a common criminal but it’s Peter's heart that makes him a hero.
