[ Or rather a few minutes as he reconsiders his life choices and decided that 'Eeeeh, what the hell, why not?'
There's a casual air of nonchalance and Peter shows up and leans against the door frame of Thor's room that looks genuine for no other reason that he's used to masking his real emotions. ]
Nah. The ship's on autopilot for the rest of the evening. We're in a safe route anyway, we shouldn't have any problems.
[ It's a little strange to have such civil talk with Thor but a good change. Peter comes fully into the room to stand in front of him and, after another moment of hesitation, he reaches out to run a hair through Thor's golden hair and the side of his face. He gives the God his trademark smirk, the one that either promises good either things or trouble. Maybe both. ]
[It is odd. It's not quite-- what he expected. Although he isn't sure what he expected.
Certainly not for Quill to be giving him a smirk like that. He tilts his head back into it those fingers before he reaches up to take his wrist, giving him a pull in.]
[ Peter was more a lover than a fighter even if he was plenty used to do the later. Given the chance, if he could defuse a fight rather than get tangled into it then, that was the option he will go for. Thor and he might not have started off on the right foot, and god knows that Peter's insecurities always got in the way, but if they were capable to move past their differences maybe the cohabitation in the ship will improve. ]
If you ask nicely.
[ With the smile still in place, he lets the other man pull him forwards. It's very tempting to just sit on Thor's lap and Peter has never been good at resisting his urges. So he does just that, knees on each side of Thor's thighs and a look of amused defiance on his face. ]

[Does Quill really want to go there? They can debate semantics all day.]
Unless you plan to join me in it.

[ Do you know Peter at all, Thor? Besides, arguing makes it easier to handle the fact they're actually having this conversation. ]
I might. I'm not doing anything important right now, I could pay you a visit.

On my bed, not the kitchen.
[Just in case he was confused.
Although he can't quite believe they're having this conversation either.]

Ey. Not busy tonight, then?

[He greets Peter with a bit of a smile, sat on the edge of his bed.]
I suppose you weren't either.

That means we have plenty of time to ourselves.

Well, then... perhaps you should come closer.
